About Us

Meet Danielle...
Danielle was born and raised just outside of Hudson, NY to Bob and Debbie Sitser. The baby of the family, Danielle has two older sisters, Tiffeny and Mary Jo, as well as one older brother, Bob.
Danielle left the nest for college immediately after high school, moved to Albany where she went on to obtain an Associates, Bachelors and Masters degrees in the early childhood education field.
Currently, Danielle works as a kindergarten teacher just outside of New Lebanon, NY and has literally begun counting down the days until lying on a beach while on her long awaited honeymoon.

Meet Blake...
Blake grew up in the heart of Denver, CO and no matter where he lives, he will forever be a Denver Broncos fan (Tebow, next Elway?). Born to Jerry and Sheryl Kush, Blake has one brother, Shaun, whom both managed to graduate from the Denver Public School system!
After graduation, Blake skipped town to play Divison 1 Football at Siena College.  Though his athletic career was cut short (to pay the basketball coach's salary), he eventually finished with his Bachelors Degree in Sociology.
Currently, Blake works as a job developer for an Albany non-profit and is in graduate school, working towards his MSW.

How they met...
Both Danielle and Blake have a combined 20 years of restaurant experience and there could have been no better of a job to have while in school. Danielle worked at Buca di Beppo in Albany for 4 years before Blake joined her.
Game, set, match! (Friends can enter their own version of the story on Facebook.)
Danielle and Blake dated for three months before moving into an apartment together! While under the same roof, both finished school and both stepped into their independent careers/the real world TOGETHER.

The Proposal...
After 1000 days spent together, on the eve of the year 2010, with a Blue Moon rising, Blake asked for Danielle's hand in marriage.
A fresh blanket of snow covered the ground and the excitement of a Friday New Year's Eve was in the air. A limousine picked up Danielle from work two hours before she was to leave and was loaded with only a note instructing her to put her snow boots on. Danielle hesitantly boarded and drove away unaware of what was to come.
Pulling up in Albany's Washington Park, the limo door was opened and Danielle was welcomed to fresh foot prints in the snow and Blake on the horizon.  Sensing the moment's importance, tears welled up and the two moved slowly towards public park isolation.
Taking a knee and offering a ring, Blake proposed marriage to which Danielle answered, "Of course!"
The night went on in celebration of a new year and a new life to come.
